Laxmi Maria Jenkins has been practising law for 20 years and has led arguments in most of the litigation handled by her. She has developed established a niche of successfully prosecuting her cases before the District Courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court, representing clients in the various spheres of the Law, and she has acquired substantial experience in different areas of legal services including prosecuting trademark, copyright, patent and design registrations before the Controller General of Patents, Design, Trade Marks, Copyrights and the Intellectual Property Appellate Board and before various courts in India. She has provided durable advice, opinion and strategy in a wide range of legal situations which consist of various laws that are inextricably intertwined. She is a member of the Bombay Bar Association (BBA), International Legal Alliance (ILA), Intellectual Property Law Practitioners Association (IPLPA) and the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI). She has been adjunct faculty with SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law and continues to lecture as visiting faculty at SVKM’s law colleges and other law colleges.
