Mr. P. A. Jani is an Advocate and Solicitor who has a rich and prestigious career spanning 4 (four) decades. Prior to establishing Vigil Juris, Mr. P. A. Jani was a Partner at leading law firm in Mumbai for 21 years. Mr. P. A. Jani and his fellow partners established Vigil Juris in 2005 and since then has been instrumental in the running and operations of the Firm.

Mr. P. A. Jani strongly believes in giving back to the community at large and as such is heavily involved with various charities and non-governmental organizations as their legal advisor and as a trustee.

Mr. P. A. Jani is also deeply involved with the promotion of the legal profession and spreading knowledge and professionalism in the industry and has, since 1984 been a Member of the Managing Committee of The Bombay Incorporated Law Society and its previous past Hon. Secretary and President. Mr. P. A. Jani is a trustee of the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Mani Bhavan Sanghralay (Mahatama Gandhi Museum), Manav Mandir Trust, Chandaramji High School Trust, Puneet Bhajan Mandal, and the Puneet Smarak Nidhi (Dakur).

Mr. P. A. Jani was a professor associated with the prestigious Government Law College, Mumbai, for over 17 years imparting knowledge to future generations in drafting, conveyancing and pleading and personal laws. Mr. P.A. Jani has also conducted various lectures and seminars for LL.M. students of the University of Mumbai.

Mr. P. A. Jani has regularly contributed towards articles, seminars and lectures to Western Indian Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Chambers of Tax Consultants, Reserve Bank of India, Trinity College and LLM Mumbai University and various other organisations.
